According to reports from TMZ, the Detroit rapper is dating Katrina Malota, a Michigan-based stylist and makeup artist who has worked closely with him for years. Katrina has handled Eminem’s grooming for his music videos, photoshoots, and public appearances — and now, their professional relationship appears to have turned personal.
When she’s not working with the hip-hop icon, Katrina styles clients at 6 Salon in Birmingham, Michigan. Although it’s unclear how long the two have been together, sources say the couple’s connection has been building quietly behind the scenes.
Who Is Katrina Malota?
Katrina Malota is a well-known stylist in the Detroit area who has also worked with major celebrities such as Snoop Dogg, Robin Thicke, and 50 Cent. On her professional website, she proudly describes Eminem as “her local hometown genius” — a nod to their shared Detroit roots.
She’s also publicly praised the rapper’s accomplishments. After his surprise performance at the 2020 Oscars, Katrina shared a Facebook post calling the moment “shocking” and celebrated his powerful return to the stage.
Though Eminem has always been extremely private about his personal life, this new romance has caught fans’ attention — especially since the two have known each other for years. Neither Eminem nor Katrina has commented publicly on the relationship rumors.
Katrina’s Health and Wellness Journey
Outside of her career, Katrina has been open about her health transformation. She revealed that she underwent bariatric surgery over five years ago and has since been using GLP-1 agonist medications to maintain her wellness journey.
